The ANA collection is a series of furniture designed around its centerpiece, the ANA stool. This stool features a seat marked by two strong lines, often associated with balance and visual harmony. Its non-coating paintwork allows us to admire the beauty of the imperfections of the raw material wood.

Design

The guiding line is inspired by architectural columns. More specifically, the Roman "Tuscan" order. 

The first piece in the collection is primarily designed for sitting, and its shape and elegance also make it an ideal side table.

Materials

The choice of fir reflects its determination to grow in heavy soils and at altitudes of up to 1,200 m, where other species would find it harder to survive, thanks to its taproots. The non-coating paint reveals its combative character through its veining and knots.

Manufacturing

The ANA collection is manufactured in Dieterswil by Schneider Innenausbau AG. 

Michaël Martins spent two years working for the company based in the canton of Bern. His first steps in design and planning in the technical office were marked by Swiss-German rigor and professionalism.
