Welcome to atelier M12

Michaël Martins began his career in the manufacturing workshops, obtaining a CFC in cabinet-making (2004-2008). His quest for technical perfection led him to pursue higher education, earning an ES diploma in wood technology in Biel (2010-2013).

With six years' experience in the design and development of bespoke products and fittings, he has worked as a project manager for companies in Bern and Montreux. He has created interiors for private residences, restaurants, hotels and watch brands such as Patek Philippe, Hermès, Rolex and Breitling, designing furniture and boutiques around the world.

At the same time, Michaël Martins is involved in vocational training as a manager within the Fédération romande des entreprises de charpenterie, ébénisterie et menuiserie (FRECEM), helping to pass on the profession's know-how.

Michaël Martins imagines, designs and creates prototypes. Finished products are manufactured by Swiss companies chosen for their expertise.
