The 2025 selection of “The Best of Swiss Design,” curated by the editorial team at Espaces contemporains, features objects that stand out for their novelty, distinctiveness, or inventiveness. This year’s selection captures the essence of emerging design—a blend of reflection and creation. It features an iconic brand, projects that seem to appear out of nowhere, and pieces that shine brightly—everyday “enhancers” that bring comfort to our homes. In a few carefully chosen adjectives, the 2024–2025 period could be defined as follows: inclusive, collaborative, and organic. While the field may have struggled recently and taken a few steps back from its achievements in the post-pandemic era, it now seems to be regaining its momentum.
